I have a microphone cord, one end is an XLR jack that connects to the microphone, the other end is a 1/4 inch connector that plugs in to my amplifier. The 1/4 in connector has fallen apart and I want to repair it but all I have is a 1/4 inch jack cut from an audio cable. Can someone tell me how to solder the 1/4 inch jack to the XLR cable?
