Tried making one with a 9000 volt neon sign transformer but 40Ma didn't do it. Darn arc wouldn't move ---until--I add alittle heat via a propane torch, the arc then followed the flame up and down the rods. Then I tought it was time to add a big bad ass RC to the thing. But then I came across this video. I said self, this is much less complicated, especially since the boss is throwing about 10 or 15 b&w 9" security moniters in the trash, grabbed a few today and going to try again. By the way FYI 9000 volts will knock U on your butt in a heart beat even @
