Limited Edition Red-Colored Honor 7X Coming to the US Just Before Valentine's Day

Huawei recently announced the Honor 7X, a mid-tier smartphone aimed at budget-conscious consumers. Spearheaded by the Kirin 659 SoC, it offers great performance at a price point where speed is normally an afterthought. Today, Huawei is making this $199 phone even more attractive by announcing a new limited edition color.

At CES 2018 in Las Vegas, Huawei announced the Honor 7X will be getting a limited-edition red colorway. Only 20,000 units will be made available in this new color, which will be sold in eight countries including the United States.

In addition, the first 100 customers (in each country) who purchase the new limited-edition Honor 7X will receive red Monster AM15 headphones as a bonus gift. This is thanks to a partnership with Monster, who is co-branding this new colorway.

The red Honor 7X will go on sale on Valentine's Day, but with two caveats: It will only be available on Honor's website and it will only be on sale for one day. With Valentine's Day almost a month away, this is a great gift for that special person in your life. In addition to the red colorway, Honor 7X is already available for purchase in black, blue, and gold. For a recap of the specs of this device, head to the link below.

Clearly, Huawei is trying to make a big push into the US market this year. The Honor View 10 finally received a US release date and Huawei has begun teasing the US release of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. With this new limited-edition colorway for the Honor 7X, many Americans will be introduced to the Huawei brand for the first time. What do you think of the new limited-edition color?
